This role is eligible for relocation. This role will be performed HYBRID at either of our Collins Aerospace locations in Richardson, TX or Cedar Rapids, IA.

What You Will Do

  • Drive effective financial planning and control for large and challenging development programs.

  • Develop comprehensive Performance Measurement Baselines (PMB) to optimize earned value and project management.

  • Establish robust Contract Work Breakdown Structures (CWBS) and CWBS Dictionaries for enhanced project clarity and efficiency.

  • Analyze program cost and schedule performance, identifying key trends and providing strategic insights to the Project Leadership Team.

  • Ensure seamless implementation of EVMS through standardized processes, tools, and ongoing compliance reviews.

  • Maintain accurate program margin positions and foster transparent communication with external customers.

  • Lead program teams through the monthly end process, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

  • Provide comprehensive sales forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

  • Prepare and analyze Estimates at Complete (EACs) while offering complete financial support to assigned program teams.

  • Collaborate with government and internal EV auditors to ensure compliance with Mission Systems EV System Description.

  • Support Program Reviews and participate in the development of proposals.

  • Adapt swiftly to unexpected events, meet critical deadlines, and deliver quality results as a flexible team member dedicated to the objectives and initiatives of Mission Systems.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Experience in Earned Value Cost Engines/Software and a background in program controls and EVMS.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and experience with SAP

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a grasp of corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) principles.

  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts and excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Proven experience in presenting to large groups and leadership, coupled with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Travel up to 10% as required.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
