Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals for the roles of 1st and 3rd shift Production Operators to ensure that products are processed and packaged correctly and efficiently. This role requires a wide range of knowledge and skills to maintain the quality and safety of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sanitation on equipment, infrastructure, grounds, and other assigned areas.

  • Monitor quality assurance controls during the production process.

  • Conduct product analysis, weight checks, and code data verification.

  • Record and maintain accurate written and electronic information.

  • Understand and follow safety, GMP, food safety, and other rules or policies.

  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Inspect infrastructure and equipment and notify management when maintenance is required.

  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process problems.

  • Operate a forklift occasionally (certification not required prior to starting).

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of production/manufacturing experience.

  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs.

  • Ability to stand on feet for up to 12 hours at a time.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with troubleshooting and mechanical operations.

  • Familiarity with machine operation.

Candidates will have the opportunity to increase their pay to $24.50 when they transition to a direct hire position. This role offers a balanced schedule with every other weekend off, providing a great work-life balance.

Work Environment

The production facility is highly automated and prioritizes safety. The environment can be very hot, often over 100 degrees in the production room, and requires the ability to stand for 12 hours. Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The facility frequently has wet and/or humid conditions, high precarious places, extreme cold/heat, and loud noise levels. Shifts are structured as 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off, working 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am. The dress code includes steel toe boots, lab coat/pants, hair/beard net, and safety glasses.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00
