Hiring for a Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer in either Cedar Rapids, Iowa, or Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer with a strong knowledge in electrical engineering or software engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.

Hard Skills

• Experience with embedded RTOS development (e.g., Micrium uC/OS, VXWorks, embOS, FreeRTOS)

• Experience with 16-bit and 32-bit microcontroller-based designs

• Proficiency in coding with C and C++ for microcontroller applications

• Experience coding HTML for embedded device user interfaces

• Knowledge of microcontroller security methodologies

• Familiarity with communications technologies and protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, TCP/IP

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Detail-oriented and organized

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa OR Raleigh, NC!
