Our experienced team includes corporate maintenance, warranty, internal maintenance, licensing, external maintenance, independent contractor maintenance, and equipment.

Job Title : Senior Maintenance Analyst

Compensation: $60,000/yr. to $82,228/yr.

Location : Onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA (3930 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404)

Job Schedules Available : Monday to Friday (7A-4P or 8A–5P)

Job Summary : The Senior Maintenance Analyst will optimize maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and drive strategic improvements by analyzing trends and developing actionable insights. This role will directly impact operational efficiency, cost reduction, and fleet reliability, leveraging technical expertise and data-driven insights to ensure the long-term success of maintenance operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze maintenance and transportation data to uncover trends, failure patterns and inefficiencies, providing actionable solutions

  • Develop and produce both standardized and ad hoc reports to support operational decision-making

  • Lead key projects aimed at improving maintenance schedules, resource allocation and cost-reduction strategies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and transportation departments, to enhance fleet performance and reduce downtime

  • Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and data analysis workflows

  • Act as a liaison between maintenance operations, transportation teams and other company divisions, ensuring alignment on key initiatives

  • Oversee data visualization efforts using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders

  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality deliverables

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Regular and reliable attendance

Job Requirements :

  • Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, transportation, mechanical engineering or a related field; or relative work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, transportation or maintenance operations, with expertise in advanced analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau)

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, maintenance processes and fleet management, with hands-on experience in transportation or equipment maintenance operations

  • Proven ability to lead projects, manage cross-functional collaboration and mentor junior team members

  • Expertise in data tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Excel, with the ability to develop data-driven solutions and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information in a fast-paced, data-heavy environment
