The role you’ll contribute: Performs a wide range of routine landscaping maintenance tasks using hand or power tools or equipment. Duties include a combination of both landscape maintenance as well as small landscape projects. Duties will include such tasks as the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, spraying, edging, pruning and sprinkler installation. Must be able to work odd hours to complete work. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Plant, mow, edge, mulch, clean up daily trash/debris, trim prune, blow, water and spray in accordance with campus schedules and departmental standards.

• Treat nuisance weeds and undesirable vegetation in landscape bedding whether by chemical or physical means. Follow detailed department expectations of how and when to treat.

• Be a very strong team player with a positive attitude and respect towards the team and supporting departments.

• Help lead small teams on landscape projects

• Help identify and communicate deficiencies with regards to landscape plantings that are not meeting expectations or departmental standards.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three years general landscaping maintenance experience

• Driver's License
