Location: Rocklin, CA; Centennial, CO; Houston, TX Employment Type:Exempt, Regular, Full-Time Manager Position: No Reports To: Controller or designee Travel: Less than 10% Summary of Functions The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring the accurate and timely collection of payments, managing the accounts receivable team, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. This role requires strategic leadership, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to drive process improvements to optimize cash flow and minimize ri Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment applications, customer setups, and compliance with company policies. Ensure internal controls are communicated and followed, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance in all accounts receivable processes. Review, analyze, and improve accounts receivable processes, implementing changes that enhance efficiency and accuracy in collections, billing, and repor Ensure timely and accurate month-end close for accounts receivable, including reporting on aged receivables, cash flow, and any discrepancies. Maintain and manage the department budget in alignment with financial goals, optimizing resources for maximum efficiency. Review and approve adjustments, credit memos, and reconciliations related to customer accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Prepare and present accounts receivable reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. Evaluate and implement technological improvements to streamline accounts receivable processes, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company goals. Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed by leadership, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Experience/Education

Five plus years of supervisory experience in Accounts Receivable. Construction industry experience preferred. High school diploma/GED or equivalent. Valid Driver's License and ability to drive on behalf of company business. Company will provide additional training, as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates. Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Above average oral and written communication skills, along with use of independent judgement and creativity applied to resolution of issues. Highly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers. Good problem-solving skills/decision-making skills. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Ability to work with all levels of management.

Good reasoning ability and decision-making is important. Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business. Primarily an office position. Occasional site visits and field project visits may be required. Travel to offices and projects in various locations around the country as needed.
