Job Title: Lead Maintenance Tech

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00/hr to start DOE

Location: Centennial, CO

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00a - 4:30p with flexibility and weekend opportunities available

Express Employment Professionals in Centennial, CO is immediately searching for a qualified Maintenance Technician to work with a local apartment complex. This person will be responsible for the overall up-keep, maintenance and appearance of the community ensuring a clean and well maintained living spaces for residents, visitors and staff. Additionally, this person will implement preventative maintenance procedures to ensure future appliance and infrastructure issues do not arise.

Highlights / Duties:

Repair and replace interior and exterior fixtures and appliances including plumbing, electrical, trim, cabinets, appliances, landscaping carpet and tile, etc. Investigate and maintain a preventative maintenance program, records and scheduling Maintain accurate record-keeping regarding EPA and OSHA standards, preventative maintenance, service tickets, expenditures, work-in-progress, make ready status, etc. Oversee key control Maintain a customer service environment by appearance and communication with guests and staff Track warranties and model numbers for appliances Review utility costs and budget costs related to maintenance Purchase and order inventory of stock within budgetary guidelines Maintain emergence response plan

What we look for:

Strong working knowledge of interior and exterior systems - electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, etc. Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting abilities Great communication skills with a team-oriented mentality Great organizational and time management skills with the ability to maintain schedules and meet deadlines Experience with a variety of hand tools and test equipment
