Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a RF/Telemetry systems engineer on the Vulcan Development Avionics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating new RF/Telemetry system solutions for ULA launch vehicles. Responsibilities inc Technically represent and be an overall proponent for ULA RF/Telemetry systems for the Vulcan program. Understand the RF/Telemetry development roadmap and design for cost effective implementation across all various potential program/project needs - system solutions must consider receiving stations. Executing trade studies for new RF/Telemetry system capabilities Developing new RF/Telemetry system architecture solutions that fit emerging program and project RF needs. Familiarity and an understanding of the application and ability to integrate new radio transmitters, receivers, RF amplifiers, antenna hardware, and encryption strategies into an overall data transmission and receive solutio Understanding of RF systems, strategies, and applications. Understanding of FAA and NTIA legislation, regulations, and requirements. Experience managing ground station solutioning. Developing RF system and component requirements Developing test requirements and sequences Coordinate with ground station to optimize encryption/decryption and encoding/decoding processes. Support hardware development, build, test, delivery, system integration, factory assembly, and launch site processing We are looking for team members with a passion for the space industry, who enjoy solving complex problems and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Education Bachelor

Required Years of Experience Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineeringor other related technical field from an accredited college or university. Experience with and understanding of Maxwell's equations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and interface with internal/external customers. Available to travel if required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering. Master's degree in physics or related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Demonstrated project or professional experience in launch vehicle, missile and/or spacecraft systems. Knowledge of RF System hardware. Summary Salary Range (forULA - Denveronly): $87,260.00 - $136,290.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
