Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to contract administration assignments for all phases of the most demanding contractual undertakings.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Effectively supports pre-award contractual activities for large, complex, strategic opportunities, including shaping, strategic positioning, risk analysis and pricing strategy.

  • Effectively teams with the Market Lead, Market BD Lead, and Market Finance Lead to achieve all the goals /objectives as it relates to their new business pipelines.

  • Efficiently and effectively reviews, negotiates, coordinates, and executes non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements from prime contractors.

  • Collaborates closely with the proposal team, to include the BD lead, proposal manager, pricer, subcontracts lead, pricing compliance etc. to prepare high-quality proposals.

  • Negotiates the significant contracts or contract modifications, often under difficult conditions.

  • Draws upon broad prior experience to effectively negotiate the most favorable terms and conditions with prospective and current clients while achieving Company objectives.

  • Identifies risks in contractual terms not conforming to Company policy.

  • Participates in Division, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, participation in business plan development, etc.).

  • Adheres to Company policies and procedures on all actions.

  • Assists in training and development for personnel on contractual topics or on Company processes.

  • Maintains an active participation in related professional societies to keep abreast of relevant contractual issues.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • JD in Law or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field

  • 10+ years of contract administration experience.

  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts or subcontracts from the subcontractor perspective.

  • Possesses organizational and time management skills.

  • Possesses strong written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration.

  • Must be capable of independently negotiating the most complex contractual issues.

  • Proven ability for managing and directing work involving complex situations.

  • Ability to consistently follow Company policies and procedures.

  • Experience with Federal construction contract management

  • US Person

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Security Clearance desired

  • 10+ years of Proposal Management experience

Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $182,400.00
