Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Test Engineer to join our team to provide the United States Marine Corps advanced Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) capabilities! In this position, you will lead your team in a variety of CUAS system testing activities ensuring the system meets specifications prescribed by the government. Expertise in sensor and weapon system integration and C2 systems would be very applicable.

What You'll Be Doing:

· Design and Develop Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and functionality align with user requirements and company standards.

· Execute Tests: Perform manual and automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and document issues in a defect tracking system.

· Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with software developers and project managers to understand product design, participate in design reviews, and provide input on software features and performance expectations.

· Lead Integration Testing: Ensure different modules of the software work together seamlessly and meet predefined criteria through integration testing efforts.

· Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks: Create and maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and tools to increase efficiency and coverage of testing.

· Mentor Junior Engineers: Provide guidance on testing best practices, techniques, and tools to junior test engineers.

· Evaluate New Testing Technologies: Assess and recommend new testing technologies and tools for potential adoption to improve testing processes and outcomes.

· Perform Security Testing: Conduct security vulnerability testing and compliance checks to ensure the software meets industry standards and protects user data.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

· Active DoD Secret Clearance

· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or technical area and 8 years of experience or equivalent.

· Minimum 3 years experience leading integration testing and mentoring junior technical employees.

· Networking experience

· Scripting language (Javascript, Python, C#, etc)Certifications include ISTQB

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

· System Administrator experience

· DevSecOps understanding (Jenkins, Junit, etc.)

· Experience working with wide range of networking and other electrical equipment

· Certified Tester or Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) can be beneficial but not required.

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
