Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented *  Sr Cyber Security Systems Engineer * to join our team! This position is full time in Doha, Qatar.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing cyber engineering expertise to determine security requirements by evaluating best practices; researching security standards/tools; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; identify integration issues

  • Developing and directing secure architecture techniques; answering technical and procedural questions from team members; recommending improved processes; mentoring team members

  • Influencing the system requirements and design processes to incorporate the identification of cyber requirements early in these processes.

  • Suggesting architecture solutions to these systems that support both the functional requirements of the systems and the cyber security requirements.

  • Identifying poor cyber designs in systems and offering alternative designs.

  • Build and maintain cyber security system components (install/patch, configure, implement, operate, and sustain) control-based solutions in product team environments.

  • Develop and maintain procedures used to validate product function and performance after applying security related patches and updates.

  • Prepares, maintains, and updates the system security plan.

  • Assists in creation of the initial security control baseline, identifying common and hybrid controls, applying overlays, and tailoring.

  • Configuration scanning to validate system configuration.

  • Preparation, maintenance, and updating of security control policies and procedures and assists in creation of select policies and procedures, as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer, Systems, Electrical, Information Technology Engineering or related technical

  • 8+ years of related experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity certifications: CISSP, OSCP, CISM, CEH, GSEC.

Salary Range:

$104,200.00 - $182,400.00

This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 30 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
