Actalent Mechanical Drafter in Ceres, California

Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description

This position involves mechanical drafting, where you will learn machine component design as well as documentation and quality control. You will create drawings, maintain and compile bills of materials, machine files, and prepare supporting documentation including manuals. Additionally, you will create and organize digital documentation and work with Sales and Engineering to transform sales orders and information into engineering parts releases to meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Create mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

  • Maintain and compile bills of materials and machine files.

  • Prepare supporting documentation including manuals.

  • Organize and maintain digital documentation.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Engineering to transform sales orders into engineering parts releases.

  • Ensure all project timelines are met.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CAD software.

  • Experience in mechanical drafting.

  • Ability to create and maintain bills of materials.

  • Strong documentation skills.

  • Knowledge of machine component design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred candidates will have a 2-year certificate in mechanical drafting or a closely related field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
