NY1510901 Sales/Driver needed for Mohawk Ltd. in Chadwicks, NY.

Pay rate is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.

SUMMARY: Oversees daily operations of the Shipping/Receiving department ensuring the functions within the department are efficiently administered. Responsible for the overall development, planning and execution of all departmental operations with the main goal of maintaining efficient operations and providing excellent customer service. Will systematically implement operational actions to enhance the organizational efficiency. Provide sales and operations support to both internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Ensure systems are in place to meet interdepartmental needs. Segregate units without coding. -Search computer for make, model, and description to code unit. -Assign a new code for units not already in system. -Remove units from boxes & load onto shelves. -Classify priority of units. -Data entry of items into the computer with attention to detail and accuracy. -Deliver units to proper department for repair. -Segregate units without coding and search computer for make, model, and description to code unit. -Ensure new codes are assigned units not already in system with approval of proper department supervisor. -Analyze processes to ensure maximum productivity/profitability. -Ensure departmental and company objectives are achieved consistent with company goals. -Using identified top customer listing, work with sales reps to call on select customers to identify new customers with appropriate follow-up. -Support and grow all accounts. -Review weekly status/receiving/shipping reports as required for designated customers. -Process New Product Sales orders as needed. -Work with the team to identify best practices and create solid work instructions around them. -Process customer orders via the phone, e-mail, fax, etc; make recommendations for uncommitted customers. -Provide quotes on all repairs and those deemed beyond economical repair. -Provide exceptional customer assistance to all customers in an acceptable time frame. -Serve as customer contact for service- related questions, responding with sense of urgency. -Manage order status & delivery dates per customer request; inform customer of requirements to send in units for repair; provide general customer service. -Monitor order fulfillment and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Driving responsibilities would be to support the business via driving to NYC and back to Chadwicks to pick up/drop off various tools for repair (or new). -Driver must interact with customers in a courteous & respectful manner in order to promote continual business and cultivate a business relationship. -Driver must have a neat & clean appearance as they are representative of Mohawk Ltd. -Driver is responsible for coordinating the drop off/pick up times. -Driver must comply with all State/Federal traffic & safety regulations including NYSs cell phone usage regulations while driving. -Driver must be able to complete all paperwork necessary for sales/repair transactions. -Driver must agree to a drug test prior to starting the driving duties. -Driver must be able to navigate through NYC driving situations.

REQUIREMENTS: -Associate's Degree in related field or a minimum of 3 years of prior related experience required. -3 years equivalent experience in logistics required. -Class D and a Clean license a MUST. -Five years experience in sales, marketing or customer service preferred. -Personal computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel experience. -UPS & FedEx shipping equipment.
