Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

Seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a local crane company in Greencastle! You will be responsible for general laborer duties, working with machines, checking the quality of the cranes, and inspecting the cranes. This position will be fully outdoors and must be comfortable working in any climate.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and perform standard and preventive maintenance.

• Function check cranes, including checking fluids, using a grease gun, hand tools, and a die grinder.

• Use an iPhone to upload data from monthly audits.

• Load cranes and ensure quality assurance for the end user.

• Work outside in all weather conditions.

• Collaborate effectively with team members in a small company environment.

Work Environment

You will be working outside in the elements onsite. The job requires working in all weather conditions, rain or shine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00
