Medical Assembler ($20-22/HR)

Job Description

• The Valve Assembly Operator position will support daily operations activities.

• The position will have responsibilities for tissue sewing operations for the assembly of the tissue heart valve.

• This position will support operations builds of valves to support clinical trials and R&D builds.

Skills

• Experience in medical device manufacturing

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions

• Ability to be cross-trained, certified, and perform all functions of this position

• Knowledge of and the ability to correctly perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

• Knowledge of and ability to follow good manufacturing practices (GMP's)

• Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance

• Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts

• Ability to use microscopes

Work Environment

Working in a cleanroom environment sewing and with valves and tissues.
