Insight Global Quality Inspector in Chandler, Arizona

Job Description

Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure conformance of materials and finished products to

specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as required):

-Accurately inspects materials and products per drawings, prints, sketches and/or other technical reference documents.

-Record inspection results to verify that product meets requirements.

-Effective containment of material that has been inspected and subsequently identified as discrepant. Notify quality supervision or management of this development and obtain direction on how to proceed.

-Identify areas to improve the inspection process including equipment, record keeping, training, communication and teamwork. Present ideas for improvement Quality supervision.

-Inspect incoming materials to drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements.

-Cleaning and proper packaging of products

  • Properly use required instruments, tools and equipment.

-Maintain quality control documents, check sheets, reports and files.

  • Control non-conforming products and ensure discrepant materials are maintained in MRB.

  • Follow safe working practices including wearing all personal protective equipment.

$28 - $30 - 4 x 10 - 4:30 pm - 3 am M-Thurs

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications

-High School Diploma or equivalent

  • CMM experience

-A minimum of 3 years of previous relevant experience preferred.

-Experience utilizing mechanical inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, drop gages, gage blocks, plug gages, etc...

-Comprehension of blueprint reading. Familiarity with basic GD&T callouts would be a differentiator.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Proficient with standard Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) null
