OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Aviation Systems / Web Applications Test Engineer 2 in our Chanhassen, MN or Olathe, KS locations. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting successful conception, development, and/or application of sophisticated avionics systems by providing system testing support for aviation applications with mature requirements.Essential FunctionsProvides system testing support for one or more Web and Mobile Applications according to system test processesPerforms system regression testing for software according to system test processesProvides clear documentation of testing completed, including observations of issues observed during testingTroubleshoots and identifies root cause of system failures and clearly documents required fixesCoordinates with internal development teams on issues reportedLearns how to use and apply engineering toolBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Math, Physics or related field AND a minimum of 1 year relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experienceExcellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)Demonstrates knowledge of several complex integrated avionic functionsDemonstrates mastery of relevant tools for use in system testingDemonstrates advanced troubleshooting skillsDemonstrates knowledge of requirements for simulator qualificationDesired QualificationsOutstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)Previous work or internship experience working on consumer or aviation productsPilot's licenseDemonstrates working knowledge of web and mobile application integration and tools used for system testingExperience in scripting or programming, with skills in Python, Selenium, or AppiumStrong data analysis skillsGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
