Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Business Analyst to support KDS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for monitoring and ensuring thorough integration and testing of all sprint team products in preparation for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) facilitated by the customer.

  • Responsible for implementing a repeatable and reliable methodology with the team, to minimize defects during release transport and to improve overall quality of deliverables.

  • Employee will be involved in establishment of objectives, conducting Analysis of Alternatives, implementation of the managed environment, training, technical documentation, and change management activities.

  • Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements

  • Assess business process and system inefficiencies

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes

  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities

  • Identify non-standard, inefficient, and deficient business processes and recommend, develop and implement process improvements per Government approval

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in business analysis

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience managing complex IT projects using Agile methodologies

  • BS Degree in a relevant field

  • Agile Methodologies (2 Years)

  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills

  • Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Must be Secret clearable.

Good to Have - But Not Required:

This helps differentiate between two or more good candidates.

  • Experience with low-code platforms such as Salesforce, Appian, ServiceNow

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
