RCS is seeking a highly motivatedCloud Engineerto join our multi-million-dollar National Intelligence program, supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) initiative. As a key contributor to the Intelligence Community's first multi-cloud project, you will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, establishing a framework that will eventually encompass all agencies within the IC. In this role, you will provide mission-critical advice on cloud-based IT systems, support development and migration to the cloud, and oversee the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud environments. Additionally, you will manage system infrastructure and related processes.

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Responsibilities:

• Advise Government stakeholders on multi-cloud, multi-agency collaborative activities, navigating agency-specific policy requirements.

• Provide comprehensive cloud strategy services to assist with relocating business applications, data, and workloads, ensuring optimal effectiveness in the multi-cloud environment.

• Serve as a cloud-agnostic evangelist, educating the Government on various cloud services.

• Define and document best practices and strategies for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.

• Review mission system requirements and facilitate recommendations for Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Task Order Proposal Requests (TOPRs).

• Offer advisory services to service providers and IC elements for discovering, adopting, and understanding new and existing CSP service offerings within the C2E environment.

• Advise the Government on application performance, uptime, and scaling best practices, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.

• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into cloud solutions, considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

• Potentially provide cloud-agnostic technical guidance in formulating customer multi-cloud work statements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

• Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience, Master's degree with 12+ years of experience, or PhD/JD with 9+ years of experience.

• 2+ years of experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environment.

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in:

• IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services (e.g., compute, storage, network, security, administration, automation, application services, databases) in native or hybrid cloud environments.

• Developing and deploying cloud solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Building and deploying systems in the cloud using continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) frameworks and infrastructure automation.

• Large-scale data architecture, data modeling, database design, and information systems implementation.

• Strong customer service skills, teamwork abilities, and the capacity to collaborate within a cross-functional team and with CSPs (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle).

Certifications: Certifications in any of the following CSPs are required:

• Azure

• AWS

• OCI

• GCP

• IBM

Desired Skills:

• Strong analytical and quality assessment capabilities.

• Experience with various Linux and Microsoft Windows OS distributions.

• Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and databases.

• Experience migrating both custom-built and enterprise applications to and from on-premises to cloud environments.

• Expertise in debugging performance and technical issues.
