Arlluk Technology Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services subsidiary, is seeking skilled professionals to support the Defense Health Agency's Technology Support Branch (TSB) in providing flexible, agile delivery services for various Military Health System (MHS) applications. The role involves working on critical systems such as PCOS, CCQAS, DMHRSi, EAS IV, ESSENCE, and PHIMT, which are essential for managing healthcare claims, provider credentialing, human resources, cost allocation, disease surveillance, and health information management. The ideal candidate will contribute to application development and sustainment, focusing on delivering high-quality solutions across ten core IT domains, including configuration management, cybersecurity, digital transformation, software engineering, and application support. This position requires expertise in agile methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic military healthcare environment.
Arlluk Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled Configuration Analyst to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuration management processes and tools, with the ability to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance across MHS applications and infrastructure. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and reliability of complex healthcare IT systems.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
The Configuration Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining the configuration of MHS applications and infrastructure components. Key responsibilities include:
Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans and procedures.
Establish and maintain configuration baselines for MHS applications and systems.
Manage version control processes for software, documentation, and infrastructure components.
Perform configuration audits to ensure compliance with established standards and policies.
Coordinate and track change requests, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
Maintain accurate configuration records and manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure proper configuration management practices.
Participate in release management processes, ensuring proper versioning and deployment of configurations.
Generate configuration status reports and metrics to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
Assist in the implementation and management of configuration management tools and systems.
Provide guidance and training on configuration management best practices to team members.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning by maintaining accurate configuration information.
Education and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 5-7 years of experience in configuration management, or
Master's degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in configuration management, or
PhD in a relevant field with 0-2 years of experience in configuration management
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and processes
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion)
Understanding of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and practices
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes
Experience with change management and change control processes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Skills and Competencies:
Experience working in government or military healthcare environments
Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and standards (e.g., HL7, DICOM)
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Experience with DevOps practices and tools
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their configuration management aspects
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and their configuration management
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices related to configuration management
Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FISMA) and their impact on configuration management
Certifications such as CMII (Configuration Management II) or similar configuration management certifications
