The Senior Data Analyst will lead the interpretation of data to provide strategic insights that enhance account operations and inform critical business decisions. This role involves gathering information from diverse sources, analyzing patterns and trends, and communicating findings through comprehensive reports to key stakeholders across the organization.
The Senior Data Analyst will leverage data to tackle complex problems, forecast production capacity, and project financial outlooks aimed at optimizing profits, reducing turnover, and enhancing logistics efficiency.
This position entails collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets, translating numerical information into actionable business intelligence. The Senior Data Analyst will ensure data integrity by regulating, normalizing, and calibrating datasets, as well as utilizing advanced visualization techniques to convey insights across various timeframes and departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with account leadership, project managers, and production managers to deeply understand their analytics needs and deliver high-impact insights that influence strategic decision-making.
Partner with management to prioritize business and information needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Identify and gather the critical data required to generate meaningful insights and drive future analytics initiatives.
Develop and maintain robust SQL databases by sourcing data from primary and secondary channels, creating flexible scripts for scalable data evaluation.
Conduct rigorous data cleansing and validation processes to ensure the accuracy of reports and findings.
Design and maintain interactive visualizations based on in-depth data analysis, integrating components from multiple sources for comprehensive reporting.
Analyze complex datasets to identify, collect, and interpret significant trends and patterns.
Support data collection efforts as necessary, ensuring thoroughness and reliability.
Verify data quality and consistency to uphold the integrity of analysis and reporting processes.
Utilize data insights to formulate actionable recommendations at all organizational levels.
Oversee data management processes to ensure high standards of data quality and consistency.
Monitor system performance, data integrity, and usage metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Handle sensitive data and information in accordance with established guidelines.
Troubleshoot reporting database environments and optimize report generation.
Provide training and support to end-users on new reports and dashboards.
Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of experience as a data analyst, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
Extensive technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel, with a demonstrated ability to master additional analytics tools.
Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in managing substantial datasets.
Expertise in query development, report writing, and effectively presenting findings to diverse audiences.
Exceptional critical thinking skills and an eye for detail.
Proven success in collaborative, team-oriented environments, with an aptitude for independent work.
Superior verbal communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations to customer and business audiences without assistance.
Strong written communication skills, adept at crafting professional documents for stakeholders.
Broad experience in logistics or manufacturing/production environments is a significant advantage.
