Koniag Management Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Requirements Manager to support KMS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating requirement specifications to ensure a common understanding between the business and the development team

  • Assessment of existing or new capability

  • Identification of DeCA business projects and initiatives (current and emerging)

  • Project development strategy to ensure timely and cost-effective results

  • Ability to ensure requirements are clear, consistent, and testable

  • Ability to clearly define a Problem Statement, Benefit to the Agency, Functional and Technical Business System Requirements.

  • Attending and Organizing meetings and workshops to gather information for business system requirements

  • Reviewing and evaluating PWS against business system requirements

  • Manage requirements status and development for reporting purposes

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience in roles like Business Analyst, where you gather and define requirement, is crucial. Typically, 3-5 years of experience is expected.

  • Managing projects, particularly those involving complex requirements, is highly valued.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CRM), Requirements Management Certification.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Project management principles, including scope management, time management, and risk management

  • Familiarity with various phases of SDLC, including planning, development, testing, and deployment, especially in relation to how requirements evolve

  • Knowledge of elicitation techniques like interviews, workshops, surveys, and observation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for articulating requirements clearly to stakeholders, developers, and project managers

Clearance Requirement:

  • U. S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
