Acclaim Technical Services Senior Systems Engineer (2024-0181) in Chantilly, Virginia

We are actively hiring a Senior Systems Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Mission Technology and Solutions Business Unit, working in Chantilly, VA.

You will work as part of a team supporting a large virtual environment that enables mission-critical operations.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with senior management, technical peers, administrative staff, and other stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of diverse engineering projects.

Required skills:

  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of VMware vSphere components

  • Installation and configuration of Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems

  • Understanding of networking concepts and technologies

  • Understanding of storage and backup products/technologies

    Desired skills:

  • Experience installing/configuring/maintaining Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

  • Active Directory and group policy configuration

  • Familiarity with scripting or other automation tools

  • Experience securing systems to achieve government security accreditation

  • Ability to brief technical projects to stakeholders of varying backgrounds and levels of expertise

  • Prior experience directing the work of a small technical team ( 6 people)
