Responsibilities

We are seeking aDevOps Engineerfor a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s access and identify management programs inNorthernVirginia!

In this role, you will be part of a DevOps team that collaborates with the development, engineering and operations and maintenance (O&M) teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the system maintenance life-cycle.

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security and scalability

• Troubleshooting and support resolving issues related to applications, deployment and operations

• Support the implementation and maintenance of version control systems, configuration management tools and other related technologies

Qualifications

Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

• Although there are exceptions based on the mix of experience and formal education, the position typically requires

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an IT field

• 11-16 years of relevant experience

  Candidate should be proficient with tools similar to the following:

• GitLab, Jenkins, Puppet

• Experience with scripting and programming languages like BASH and Python

• Experience with AWS to include the following;

• EC2, Cloud Formation, IAM

• Experience with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) to include;

• Creating and configuring monitoring metrics, reports, dashboards, alerts and logs with Kibana

• Experience with other monitoring tools such as Nagios and AWS CloudWatch

• Experience in working on teams utilizing Agile work-flows and processes

  Security Clearance Level

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
