Core Experience:

• 3+ years of Clinical Trail Billing experience

• Experience and knowledge of the Clinical Trial Lifecycle required

• Invoicing experience – researching and resolving discrepancies

• Handling v arious types of sponsors and industry-funded clinical budgets.

• Experience with EPIC and Oncore software systems

Responsibilities of this Role:

• The Clinical Trials Billing Analyst will work with the Clinical Trial Post Award team to coordinate with key stakeholders across clinical research and sponsors to enhance revenue collection and act as a Research Billing Quality Control Business Officer.

• The Clinical Trials Billing Analyst manages and tracks billing areas for the study. The Clinical Trials Billing Analyst will develop the knowledge and skills to understand OnCore and EPIC software clinical research functionality to help with all revenue areas.

• The Clinical Trials Billing Analyst will oversee quality checks of Oncore data and other systems used for billing purposes for the Clinical Trial Post-award unit. The Clinical Trials Billing Analyst will also broadly apply clinical knowledge, including reviewing hospital and physician billing and advising Fund Analysts/accountants on how to proceed with payment.

• The Clinical Trials Billing Analyst will perform various financial and business-related duties associated with specialized clinical trial accounting, QC, and hospital and physician billing auditing, as well as checking if the procedures are correctly captured in Oncore.

• This position aims to help maximize revenue collections from Clinical Trial Sponsors by reviewing key documents and various systems. Constantly check if other visits can be billed to the sponsor and keep track of all the procedures negotiated in the sponsor agreement that are captured correctly in Oncore. Billing analysis and decision-making are needed to determine responsibility for charges post-award processes for payment, which reflects how clinical trials are performing. The focus is mainly on the following aspects:

• OnCore

• Clinical Trial Management System

• EPIC - Electronic Medical Record System

• Billing coverage analysis

• Sponsor Contracts and amendments, billing calendar, hospital bills, and the negotiated study budget
