Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The role involves managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record keeping, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing daily deposits

• Handling all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ensuring accurate and efficient month-end close procedures

• Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing necessary journal entries

• Conducting bank reconciliations on a regular basis

• Utilizing software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting functions

• Applying received checks to respective trips

• Collaborating with the team in Europe for smooth financial operations

• Supporting the Director of Finance in various tasks as needed

• Adapting to changes in the role as the company transitions from outsourced to in-house bookkeeping. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance

• Proficient in Journal Entries recording

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Proficiency in Oracle software

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
