Apartment Management Consultants, LLC Corporate Compliance Director in Charleston, South Carolina

We are currently seeking a Compliance Director!

The Compliance Director is a corporate role that oversees the compliance team and program. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with Low Income Housing (HUD) / tax credit rules and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee a team of compliance managers while also performing compliance duties; required to travel based on business need

  • Conduct all affordable trainings

  • Interpret regulatory agreements

  • Generate/approve all Rent Schedules

  • Conduct and lead all Pre-MOR and Pre-CTCAC audits

  • Approve all reports going to the city and monitoring agencies

  • Review/approve all move-ins and denials

  • Implement all Affordable documents

  • Update/maintain all CTCAC forms

  • Monitor all PSRs

  • Review/approve corrections and responses for all audits

  • Track all property d with the assistance of the compliance managers

  • Monitor performance of Affordable communities in a set region

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of on-site or compliance experience processing Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC or Section 42) cert. paperwork

  • Proven experience with other affordable housing programs such as HUD, Section 8, 202, and/or 811

  • Knowledge of processing Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC or Section 42) certification paperwork

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others – employees, properties, supervisors, etc.

Additional Information: Travel and on-site visits to property up to five days a week

Compensation: Full- Time $80,000 to $85,000 per year
