Summary About the Position: The Interdisciplinary Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) is responsible for planning and directing all functions of Construction Branch field support, which includes coordination of construction work, quality assurance procedures and office engineering processes. Responsibilities Review and manage construction schedules of complex structures to ensure project milestones are met and all delays are tracked and accounted. Review and approve Government Estimates for contract changes, analyze contractor proposals, and consult on negotiations with the contractor on terms and prices, assist to develop modifications as the Contracting Officer's Representative. Develop and establish effective and measurable performance plans/standards for programs assigned, preparing performance evaluation documents for all CD staff to ensure compliance with performance metrics. Conduct and/or verbally participate in face-to-face or virtual meetings and conferences with staff and stakeholders to advise and inform them on current status of all construction activities.
