Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Secret cleared Graphical User Interface (GUI) Engineer, specifically on Linux Systems, to support a federal client of ours out of the Charleston, SC area. The main task at hand is to create a refreshed user interface system for a government project. The day to day includes:

• Administering Red Hat virtual machines (KVM) and containers (Docker/Podman)

• Developing software applications in Python, ReactJS, and TypeScript/JavaScript on Red Hat Linux platforms

• Automation of maintenance tasks using shell scripting (Bash)

• Maintain source code in software repositories (Git)

Skills and Requirements

• Active Secret clearance or higher

• Security+ certification

• 3+ years of experience with GUI

• Experience with front-end development creating dashboards or similar within a Linux System

• Proficiency with ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript

• Containerization experience with Dockers or PodMan - Human System Interface experience null
