The Opportunity The candidate will report to the Manager, United States Gas Project Management In-line Inspection (ILI).
This role will provide field coordination and planning to safely facilitate implementation of ILI (smart pigging), maintenance pigging and chemical cleaning programs.
Extensive communication and coordination with Regional Operations, Gas Control, Pipe Integrity, Operations Planning, Commercial Operations, Internal Pigging Group and Engineering will be critical to be successful for this position.
What you'll do
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Field implementation of ILI program and coordination of field activities
Liaison with Regional Operations, Gas Control, Pipe Integrity, Operations Planning, Commercial Operations, FWP's, Land, Engineering and other Stakeholders as required
Supervise and coordinate third party contractors in the field when needed
Day to day scheduling and coordination with regions
Undertakes technical analyses to prepare recommendations for actions
Preliminary facility inspections to support program design and implementation (e.g. launcher/receiver installations, project scoping)
Daily cost tracking and manpower scheduling
Documentation and daily reporting
Head office support as required
Assist procedure development and contingency plan development
Identify and implement training requirements for ILI Project Coordination
Provide mentorship to regional ILI Coordinators when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in engineering
Minimum 2+ years experience
Project coordination and leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Candidate must have a valid Driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Progressive Operations experience and working experience in Pipeline design and construction
Gas handling and survey experience as well as solid level of computer literacy
Safety skills and attitude.
This position requires candidates to:
Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)
Successfully complete pre-employment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing
Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training will be required.
