The Opportunity Our Management System & Governance Group is currently seeking an Operational Management System Specialist to join our team, based in Calgary, AB; Houston, TX; or Charleston, WV (other locations may also be considered).

Reporting into the TOMS Governance & Reporting team within Safety & Technical Services, the Operational Management System Specialist is responsible for providing the tactical development and operationalization of the Operations Management System to drive best in class performance and continuous improvement. This position works to balance the operational feasibility of business processes with technical best practice and enhance the effectiveness of the Operational Management System to improve its structure and content, and to ensure the processes and procedures we use are safe, reliable, effective, and add value.

What you'll do Provide subject matter expertise in the technical and operational refinement of the structure and usability of TC Energy's Operational Management System (TOMS) Coordinate across business units to develop, test, and refine the business processes of TOMS. Project manage changes to TOMS in collaboration with the Functional and Business Unit representatives Steward TOMS from a system perspective, ensuring end-to-end alignment with the agreed to design principles Build organizational competency in TOMS, including contributing to the development and delivery of tools and training Actively facilitate cross-functional teams to design and implement TOMS improvements Relentlessly focus the organization on driving improved results, efficiency, and standardization

Minimum Qualifications Post-Secondary Degree or Technical Diploma in a related field 10 years of related experience in oil, gas, energy, utilities and/or process industries 5 years of experience in the development and improvement of an Operations Management System 5 years of facilitation and/or training experience Proven ability to translate technical standards and regulation into implementable business processes Demonstrated track record of system improvement and the ability to influence without positional authority

Preferred Qualifications Front-line operational experience in oil, gas, energy, utilities, and/or process industries Facilitation and/or Coaching Certification Process Design and Optimization Certification (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) Organisationnel Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, etc.) Experience developing and deploying adult learning programs

This position requires candidates to: Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico) Travel across North America to other company or supplier locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training (estimated up 10% of work schedule)
