We are currently seeking a Situation Awareness Manager. This is a work from home position. This position is open to qualified candidates located within the United States.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Provide management and oversight of the situation awareness and disaster assessment programs ensuring that implementation and activities are carried out in accordance with program objectives. Provide planning, design and implementation support to the situation awareness and disaster assessment program areas. Analyze program activity and identify areas for improvement. May work with internal and external contacts to develop program strategies and proposal initiatives. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. This person will work within a disaster response environment and therefore must thrive in the face of ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities): Direct and coordinate activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of the situation awareness and disaster assessment programs. Will participate in the planning, execution and evaluation of the situation awareness and disaster assessment programs and related projects. Ensure integration of assigned projects and functions with the overall Situation Awareness and Decision Support (SADS) program initiatives. Collect and analyze data, identify areas of need and/or improvement, and develop recommendations for program improvement.
