Description We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our manufacturing team located in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the accounts payable operations of our organization. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing and managing customer credit applications

• Ensuring the maintenance of precise customer credit records

• Handling customer inquiries and resolving them in a timely manner

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions as needed

• Analyzing and improving the accounts payable policies and procedures

• Communicating effectively with international teams

• Utilizing accounting software systems, specifically SAP, to streamline processes

• Assisting with auditing activities and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

• Managing account coding and other accounting functions

• Using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools for efficient operations

• Supporting other team members to ensure smooth functioning of the accounts payable department. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for the role of Accounts Payable Specialist.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is a must.

• Proficiency in using Concur is needed.

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is vital.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is required.

• Auditing skills are necessary for this role.

• Proficiency in Automated Clearing House (ACH) is needed.

• Experience with SAP is a crucial requirement for this job.
