Description

We are in the market for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client in the manufacturing space located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves handling account reconciliation, data entry, processing invoices, and running checks, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliation tasks with high accuracy

• Manage accounts payable (AP)

• Perform check runs regularly to ensure timely payments

• Code invoices accurately to maintain a well-organized record

• Conduct data entry tasks efficiently and accurately

• Process invoices with a high level of precision

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for managing and tracking data

• Ensure accurate 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipt reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Manufacturing industry or a similar field

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong data entry skills and experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with 3 Way Matching process in the context of accounts payable

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
