Description We are in the market for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28217, United States. As part of our team, you will be working in the accounting industry, focusing on functions such as processing payable invoices, managing accounting software systems, and handling accounts payable. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Utilize accounting software systems for various accounting functions.

• Maintain weekly account payable records, updating and correcting discrepancies as necessary.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze accounting data.

• Perform check processing for accounts payable.

• Liaise with other team members to manage accounts payable (AP).

• Oversee customer credit applications and records, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.

• Proactively monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed.

• Utilize SAP for various accounting tasks.

• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to accounts payable. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in check processing

• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Experience with payable invoices

• Familiarity with weekly account payable

• Knowledge of SAP software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
