Robert Half Administrative Coordinator in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator in the non-profit industry, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will primarily focus on event management, communication coordination, content creation, and system support.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the coordination of Board meetings, committee meetings, and Board retreats, ensuring all logistics are in place and run smoothly

• Manage the preparation of meeting agendas and documentation, and maintain comprehensive records of meeting minutes

• Facilitate effective communication and coordination with Board members and providers, sharing essential information as needed

• Create and edit various department-related communication materials

• Monitor and respond to department-related social media communications, contributing to the development and execution of social media campaigns

• Serve as the primary support for the NC Works Online system, including providing training for staff and partners

• Organize program and administrative support activities and tasks, demonstrating excellent organizational skills

• Balance multiple priorities, demonstrating the ability to multitask and manage simultaneous tasks

• Work effectively with a diverse group of service providers, governmental agency representatives, advisory boards, volunteers, consumers, associates, and the general public

• Maintain an acute attention to detail, preparing and maintaining accurate and detailed notes and records. Requirements • Proficiency in preparing meeting minutes and organizing meeting preparation

• Demonstrated experience in client communications and implementing effective communication strategies

• Sound knowledge of social media platforms and experience in managing social media campaigns

• Previous experience in the non-profit sector is advantageous

• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as per their urgency

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software

• Experience in catering or event management will be considered an asset

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and take on new responsibilities as required.
