Our client is hiring Budget Analyst/Business Analyst for a 3 month contract to hire position to support processing the finances for equipment. Day to day: this person will be responsible for balancing the overall budgets for the department. This person will meet with the team to go through specifics for that budget season, determining what is expected of the budget and what the spending plan is so the person understands what they need to follow. Typically this person will make a template with PO's that need to be ordered detailing what month the purchasing needs to occur. As this is supporting an IT budget, general knowledge of IT terms/equipment will be helpful when matching up budget codes with specific hardware equipment. It is important this person understands how to follow a budget--get the requisitions created, communicate with purchasing. There is a high volume of purchasing so this person must be organized, self-motivated, and independent.

This person will be trained by and able to lean on members of the Technology Finance team.
