Job Description

NOTE: This is a Part-time role 20 hours per week

LOCATION: Charlotte, NC

Provides complex and highly confidential administrative and support services to senior level executive management, primarily the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). Regularly exercises judgment and discretion in the execution of responsibilities that includes strategic project engagement, including sensitive staffing analysis and performance management calibration. Will provide support in confidential staffing discussions and budget needs and provide support on overall organization communications.

Candidate will have strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work across levels of management. Individual must be able to support and facilitate strategic communications through emails and presentations. The individual will be required to create agendas for leadership meetings, including weekly staff meetings and broader all-hands call. Role requires ability to work with financial information. The individual will engage in special projects as needed to support Corporate Compliance (CC).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute a communication strategy for the group including executive staff meetings topics, speakers and reports.

  • Work with chief of Staff and Director of Training and Administration Services on staffing and budgetary strategy.

  • Manage items requiring CCO approval

  • Manage projects and reporting related to critical compliance initiatives

  • Provide site leadership for business continuity and emergency planning including leaders of the local Emergency Response team.

  • Serve as point of contact for Charlotte for Commercial Real Estate and Return to Office work.

  • Lead talk to us; all hands and site-based communications for CCO

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically more than eight years of applicable experience

Part-time 20 hours per week

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 10+ years in Compliance and/or business support type role. College degree

  • Customer/employee situations with a high degree of diplomacy and confidentiality

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business

  • Considerable understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

  • Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies

  • Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills

  • Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

NOTE: This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $108,375.00 - $127,500.00 - $140,250.00
