CONSTRUCTION/MAINTENANCE PROJECT MANAGER -- IMMEDIATE HIRE

ABCO Maintenance is a Commercial Facility Maintenance/Construction Company that has been serving the Tri-State area 7 days a week/ 24 hours a day for over 35 years. We are actively recruiting an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

The Construction/Maintenance Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of work orders and the projects performed at our customer locations, including retail and commercial properties. Being organized, detail-oriented, and having strong communication skills are essential for success. This individual will work with our on-site technicians and or sub-contractors on daily work orders/job from inception to completion.

Other essential skills include:

  • Planning

  • Budgeting

  • Managing and allocating resources and onsite technicians

  • Communicating

  • Monitoring progress

  • Documenting

Position Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • 5 years+ hands on experience with maintenance & construction skilled trades (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, roofing)

  • Experience working with self-performing labor

  • Prior Project Management experience

  • Must be a self-performer with minimum guidance

  • Tech savvy and comfort in working with computers, phones, and other systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Must have the ability to manage employees and delegate them multiple tasks

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
