Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to assist our large manufacturing client. This role will be responsible for assisting with month-end close procedures and preparing journal entries for the plant. This includes ensuring financial records comply with GAAP, maintaining and improving the internal control structure, and conducting quarterly inventory reserve analysis. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong initiative in taking on work and responsibilities and a strong attention to detail. Some of the other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Update business partners with current reports and data analyses.

Generate variance reports, analyze raw material costs, and create cost-benefit analyses.

Assist with annual physical inventory count, capital expenditure tracking, and reporting.

Analyze sales, expenditures, and perform monthly and annual forecasting.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.

2+ years of accounting experience

Experience with Data Analysis

Microsoft Excel experience Master's in Accounting or CPA, CMA, or other related credentials

Manufacturing experience

Experience with an integrated ERP

Proficiency in Microsoft Office null
