About the role:

The Data Center Delivery Assurance Leader is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery process of data center projects, ensuring that all project deliverables are completed according to specifications, within budget, and on schedule. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, implementing quality assurance processes, and managing stakeholder expectations to guarantee successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects, including new builds, expansions, and upgrades.

  • Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet delivery milestones.

  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial constraints are adhered to and reporting any variances.

  • Develop and enforce quality assurance processes and standards specific to data center projects.

  • Regularly review and audit project deliverables to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and proactively identify potential risks to project delivery, including technical, operational, and financial risks.

  • Create and implement risk mitigation strategies to address and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.

  • Continuously assess and improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Promote a collaborative work environment and facilitate effective communication among team members.

  • Ensure that project outcomes meet or exceed client expectations, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.

  • Oversee the transition of completed projects to operational status and ensure client support and satisfaction post-delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 8 + years of experience working in or directing project teams or several mid to large-sized projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams.

  • SAP or other ERP experience

  • Working knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration design, heat transfer, fan systems, and control systems

  • Supply chain management and operations experience

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC components, products, systems, and controls is preferred

  • Project level experience is preferred proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
