Ready to let your ambition thrive? We are looking for a candidate with previous logistics experience within a fast-paced cross dock environment. In this role, you will be assisting the dock supervisor, ensuring the timely and accurate coordination of freight. This is a hands-on position, with responsibility and accountability for daily distribution flow.

salary: $15.99 - $16 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 6 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

As a Dock Assistant, you will be assisting with the efficient and timely coordination of freight to reach its final destination while maintaining all required communications to dispatch, load planners, load validators, and designated management. Ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols, while working alongside dock workers.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 85lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working weekends
