DoD Proposal Manager (Radar/EW Systems)

Remote Position with a requirement to visit facility once per quarter

Must be eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance - do not need one to start

Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000 base salary

Job Description

The Proposal Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the proposal development process from start to finish, ensuring that all proposals are compliant, compelling, and submitted on time. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include leading proposal development, providing direction to cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with government regulations, partnering with Capture Managers for strategy integration, reviewing and editing proposal content, managing proposal schedules, coordinating resources, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

-Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management, specifically within the Defense industry.

-Program management and/or engineering or technical leadership experience.

-Experience leading large competitive proposal efforts and developing/standardizing proposal process best practices for U.S. and/or foreign government aerospace/defense pursuits.

-Experience leading classified proposals in aerospace/defense or a similar high-technology environment.

-Knowledge of Radar, Sonar, RF based technology, EW Systems

-Extensive experience with cost volume content and development process
