Amergis Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic in Charlotte, North Carolina

AmergisStaffing is looking to hire a Paramedic or an EMT for a facility in Charlotte,NC. If you are interested, please apply!

Details:

  • locatedin Charlotte, NC

  • ASAPstart date

  • Shift and training schedule is TBD

  • Providetriage, first aid and/ or referral to outside medical provider, if needed.

  • Maintainall records of care given to employees.

  • Maintainfirst-aid kits, inventory supplies, restock and clean equipment used in thecare of employees.

  • Contactoutside medical providers as needed to schedule appointments, and if neededrestriction clarification, or arrange further treatment.

  • Trainemployee volunteers in First Aid, CPR, AED, Blood Borne Pathogen training.

  • Providedaily end of shift reports to the Safety and Leadership team.

Participatein weekly Site Case Management Review meetings with HR, Risk Management andSafety.

  • Provideanalysis of all incidents on a monthly basis coupled and make recommendationsfor risk reductions on work place injuries.

-Participate in incident investigations as needed.

  • Developa return to work Physical Demands Assessments for each task.

-Participates in facilitation of random drug testing.

  • Learnevery job function in facility to fully understand the ergonomic risk factors.

  • Frequentfloor time is required to better under the needs of operations.

Requirements:

  • minimumof 1 year experience as an EMT or Paramedic responding to emergency calls

  • currentand valid EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health for thestate of NC

  • BLScertification, ACLS/PALS per contract requirement

  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
