Overview and Essential Functions

Prince Telecom is currently seeking Fiber Splicers to join our team to help connect America!

We provide paid training, full benefits, and tuition assistance.

Compensation: $18/hr

  • Job Type: Full Time

    What you will do:

  • Splice and connect underground fiber optic drop cabling related to a FTTH network deployment

  • Minor hand digging to locate buried splice enclosures

  • Use provided maps to locate vaults, splice enclosures and other points of interest within the fiber network

  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery

  • Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/Supervisor

Qualifications

Who we are looking for…

  • Minimum 18 years old

  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Valid standard driver's license

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (over-time, after hours, weekends, or on-call)

  • Ability to comfortably stand, crouch, sit, bend, balance, climb, crawl, lift, hold, or stoop.

  • Comfortable working in adverse weather (extreme heat, cold temperatures, wind, rain, snow, sleet, etc)

  • Able to lift, climb, and carry weight of up to 80lbs
