Aerotek Machine Operator | Pay - $18-$20/hr in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

  • Our client is a leading advanced material provider for the composite and protective markets. At their site in Charlotte, they manufacture soft armor.

  • In the weaver operator position, you will be in charge of making circuit looms, bombing the yarn, and ensuring the quality of the product.

  • You will pick count and identify any defects or anomalies in the fabric as the machine will not work when there are defects.

  • You will flag down the fixer apprentices if a quality issue is identified.

  • You will primarily work on the air jet loom and Rapier loom.

Hard Skills

  • Setting up the weaver machine

  • Threading needles by hand

  • Inspecting product to ensure patterns are correct

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina.

Work Environment

7 AM - 7 PM, 2x2x3 schedule. One opening on A shift and another on B shift.
