Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our chemical plant. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in motors, pumps, and sensor troubleshooting, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair motors and pumps

  • Diagnose issues with heat, pressure, photo eyes, and flow sensors

  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams

  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and hydraulic systems

  • Conduct electrical and PLC troubleshooting

  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed

Essential Skills

  • Experience with motors and pumps

  • Sensor troubleshooting: heat, pressure, photo eyes, flow

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical diagrams

  • Prior experience in chemical manufacturing

  • Strong emphasis on safety

  • Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

  • Preventive maintenance

  • PLC troubleshooting

Openings Available

  • 1st shift 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday

  • 12hr, 2-2-3 rotation schedule on days 5:45am-6:00pm

Pay Rate

  • $28.00-$34.00/hr based on experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $70720.00

Health, Dental, Vision, 401K if offered by company. There will also be opportunities for bonuses and pay increases based on performance metrics.

This is a fully onsite position in Charlotte,NC.
