Wells Fargo Marketing Lead Business Execution Consultant – Credit Risk SME (Cards) in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant on the Credit Card Acquisition Marketing team as part of Consumer Marketing . This person would be the Credit Risk SME across all targeted acquisition campaigns, responsible for upleveling the organizations approach to marketing programs while mitigating credit risk. You will collaborate closely with acquisition marketing channel leads, and other marketing cross functional partners.
The ideal candidate will have strong understanding and expertise within credit risk aligned with an interest in pivoting risk experience into a marketing function specific to strategy and consulting around new customer acquisitions within the credit card portfolio.

In this role, you will:
Lead, manage, and implement credit risk mitigation strategies across all targeted acquisition marketing initiatives for all credit card products.
Facilitate discussions between credit card risk partners and marketing leadership to gain alignment on priorities, channel strategy and timing of marketing launch across various channels – prescreen offers, wellsfargo.com, email, credit card aggregator, direct mail
Provide strategic consulting to marketing leads. Work closely with leads to prioritize and identify resources and capabilities needed to support their marketing objectives.
Partner with Credit Card Marketing partners such as product, list execution, risk, finance, and analytics to facilitate and help prioritize needs of all card products – general purpose, Cobrand and Small Business
Identify new opportunities to reduce credit risk and grow Wells Fargo credit cards, through ongoing assessment of marketing capabilities, acquisition offers, product enhancements, consumer trends and the competitive landscape
Ensure adherence to legal, compliance, privacy regulations, and policies and procedures related to marketing
Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Previous experience with credit risk strategy development and monitoring in financial service industry.

Credit risk experience in consumer lending, preferably in credit card acquisitions
Demonstrated outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss information in a way that persuades, educates and enhances understanding at all levels
Strong project management skills including the ability lead and coordinate deliverables to successfully launch initiatives
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

New York City – Pay Range: $115,900 – 206,100 annually
