Position Overview

The position will report to the VP of Digital Transformation with a focus on regulated Discrete and Process Industries (Medical Device and Pharmaceutical). This person is responsible for working both internal and external to the business unit on aligning industry knowledge, business process, and customer priorities to develop a cohesive plan and roadmap for the customer’s enterprise system transformation journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the digital transformation “vision” utilizing Siemen’s digital threads so the customer can understand how their business will transform with Siemen’s Portfolio (Hardware and Software) across their Product/Process Lifecycle.

  • Tailor, package, document and deliver industry specific messaging and proofs of concept in conjunction with partner organizations (Presales, Product Development, Sales, Industry Strategy, Services)

  • Collaborate with solution consultants, portfolio, industry, and product development teams to:

o Align solutions to business verticals and evolve Digital Threads

o Identify key solution enhancements (gaps) based on industry direction inclusive of Regulatory/Compliance requirements

o Create and evolve industry process templates for each digital thread (considering commonality between similar industries)

  • Adopt the vision to the customers’ needs with each implementation and expansion opportunity to ensure the greatest customer outcome

  • Comprehensive knowledge of customer business to identify opportunities for Siemen’s solution expansion.

  • Utilize Siemens tools to create and deliver on digital enterprise visions specific to each customer and adapt the vision to customer and industry shifts.

  • Collaborate with internal or external implementation partner to drive success deployment and adoption of digital threads

  • Collaborate with industry peers/partners/customers to influence and align Siemens digital threads and solutions to meet current and future needs

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Led a digital transformation initiative with a Fortune 500 company

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Business required

  • Strong understanding of Regulatory and Compliance in Life Science Industry (Medical Device and Pharmaceutical)

  • Broad knowledge of digital transformation solutions that customers can relate to and trust they will meet their business requirements.

  • Experience having business conversations at the C-Suite level

  • (ALM / PLM / MES tools/technology)

  • Must currently reside in the continental USA, and live near a major airport

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Preferred Education, MBA or MS in related field

  • Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing experience

  • Fortune 50 Pharmaceutical / Medical Device R&D / Commercial operations

  • Project Management

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The total cash compensation range for this position is $135,700 to $271,400 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
