Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Property Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role is within the real estate and property industry and will involve managing various aspects of property accounting.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling all aspects of month-end close for multiple properties

• Utilizing accounting software systems like Yardi or MRI for efficient workflow

• Coding accounts accurately to maintain a streamlined accounting system

• Overseeing both accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Implementing accrual accounting methods for precise financial records

• Conducting regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial data

• Utilizing ADP for financial services to manage payroll and other financial tasks

• Applying your knowledge of accounting functions to improve our financial processes

• Managing customer inquiries and resolving them in a timely manner

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is beneficial

• Knowledge of AMSI is desirable

• Must have competency in AppFolio

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions is necessary

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting is important

• Experience in Auditing is advantageous

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary

• Must be able to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Knowledge of the Real Estate & Property industry is beneficial

• Must adhere to ethical business practices and comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
